British Labour Party Poster
This pop-art style political poster was found in my grandfathers attic. He is a life long labour party member and supporter. The slogan “When it comes down to it - aren't Labour's ideals yours as well?” is from the 1970s general election in which Harold Wilson (labour) lost to conservative candidate Edward Heath.
There is limited information about the design and its creator. At the bottom it says the poster was published by the Labour Party, Transport House, Smith Square, London SW1. Printed by Co-operative Wholesale Society Ltd, Elgar Road Reading.
